In the finance department, we can offer an interesting and developing job. We provide the client and authorities with various financial summaries, such as annual reports, budget proposals, and other financial reports. Currently, more than 30 employees work in the department.

The department consists of two units and a function that includes procurement, accounting, controller activities, and administrative services. The procurement function plays a prominent and active role in everything related to the authority's procurements.

We are now looking for an experienced procurement officer

to the procurement function located in Sundsvall. You will be part of a team of three procurement officers who support the operations with procurements.

Job responsibilities:

In your role as a procurement officer, you will ensure that all types of procurements are conducted in accordance with applicable laws and regulations. Based on the procurement process, you will independently and commercially ensure the quality of the entire procurement by establishing timelines, distribution of responsibilities, documentation requirements, and providing support to the purchaser. The work is carried out in close collaboration with the authority's current procurement officers, purchasers, and decision-makers. Your tasks will also include contract management, such as monitoring expired contracts and initiating new ones, as well as conducting contract extensions. Furthermore, you will also participate in monitoring compliance with internal regulations and follow-up through spend analyses.

We are looking for someone who has:

• Relevant higher education, or other education such as vocational training in procurement or work experience deemed equivalent by the employer.
• At least 2 years of current experience or more as a procurement officer in the public sector (state, municipality, and region)
• Good knowledge of LOU (the Public Procurement Act) and its application
• Very good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing.
• Good knowledge of English in speech and writing
• Very good proficiency in MS Office (preferably Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint)

It is an advantage if you have:

• Experience in procurement work within government operations
• Experience working in e-procurement systems
