FM-service takes care of facilities throughout the municipality, from schools and preschools to sports halls and offices. We clean an area equivalent to 55 football fields, manage all properties and the outdoor environment around them, and provide janitorial services.

JOB DESCRIPTION

As a property caretaker, you will work with the maintenance and supervision of municipal properties, primarily through preventive maintenance and reporting of faults. You will also work with operational services towards our customers within municipal operations such as schools, preschools, nursing homes, and group homes. As part of our mission, we also deliver internal mail between the administrations daily. Snow removal and ice control may occur. We use the case management system Dedu, and essentially all the tasks we perform go through it.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with a high school education, preferably supplemented with training in property maintenance/janitorial tasks. Examples of training include fire protection inspector, hot work, facility manager fire alarm, electrical safety course, lift license, scaffolding builder, fall protection training/high-altitude work, locks & burglary alarms.

Work experience as a property caretaker or equivalent is required; experience in locks and alarms, fire protection, hot work, electrical, plumbing, and repairs is advantageous. It is beneficial if you have knowledge of municipal operations and/or experience from other service operations. A prerequisite for reporting and orders is that you have a good ability to use digital tools. Your knowledge of the Swedish language should be at a native level or level D in SFI education. A B driver's license for manual transmission is required.

Heavy tasks may occur, so we prefer that you have good physical ability.

As a person, you are keen to follow laws, regulations, and instructions within the organization. You are positive even when conditions change, and you have good contact with other people.
