We are now looking for a Site Manager for Peab Asfalt located in Västerås

Peab Asfalt AB is a subsidiary of the Peab Group and is one of Sweden's largest companies in the manufacturing and laying of hot, warm, and cold asphalt. We have a strong focus on innovation for more environmentally friendly asphalt and took the lead in the industry to reduce carbon dioxide emissions with the launch of ECO-Asphalt.

About the position                                 

As a site manager, you will assist the site manager with their tasks. Responsibilities include:

• Plan, lead, and distribute the daily work for our paving workers
• Ensure competence and resources for paving work
• Be responsible for the supervision of traffic arrangements and daily operations
• Create a good working environment for those in your team
• Ensure that efficiency, profitability, and quality are achieved at all levels

The role of site manager offers many social contact points, challenges, and great opportunities for personal development. Västmanland and surrounding areas will be your geographical work area.

The position is full-time with start date to be agreed upon.

Who are you?

We are looking for someone with good experience in leading asphalt work or work that we consider equivalent.

We seek someone with strong leadership skills who can work independently while also being able to build trusting relationships with employees and customers. As a person, you enjoy being the one who brings people and tasks together, you work systematically even in stressful situations, and you have the ability to prioritize.

Requirements

• Driver's license B
• Experience in a similar position within construction/asphalt.
