Vacancy for Vacuum Excavator Operator in Uppsala

About the Role

As a Vacuum Excavator Operator, you will remove various types of materials where the excavator cannot reach by using airflow and a crane arm. This may involve sucking out pipes at a trench. We operate from Uppsala, but assignments are spread throughout Sweden, which may sometimes lead to longer working days, so flexibility is a plus.

All our operators work in pairs and manually handle the suction hose to suck up materials into the vehicle's tank. You and your colleague will be responsible for the vehicle and will maintain direct contact with the customer on-site.

About You and What We Are Looking For

To succeed in the role of Vacuum Excavator Operator, you should have previous experience in similar work. You must have a CE driver's license and a Professional Competence Certificate (YKB). The job involves some heavy lifting, so good physical condition is a plus.

In this role, you will meet our customers on-site daily, so we believe you have a good sense of service and enjoy interacting with people. You are stress-resistant, responsible, and used to taking initiative. As a driver, you are safe, secure, and can plan your driving well - considering both traffic safety and environmental impact.

Additional Information

Serwent applies individual salary setting and a collective agreement is in place. The position is a permanent employment starting with a 6-month probation period.
