About the Position

We are now looking for a technical assembler for a company in Linköping!

In this role, you will be part of a team of about 20 people and work with the assembly of battery and solar-powered display systems for public transport. The tasks include assembly, testing of electronics, various types of display technologies, as well as plastic and sheet metal mechanics. The tasks are varied as rotation occurs within production, and you will be involved in the entire process, from order to delivery of fully tested sign products. Your work will also involve contact with other departments such as purchasing, sales, development, mechanics, and electronics. The work requires precision and accuracy as assembly of smaller details occurs. Heavy lifting may be required.

The start date for this position is immediate or by agreement. Working hours are scheduled during the day, Monday to Friday. The assignment is planned to continue indefinitely with a good chance of direct employment with the company.

Your Profile

We are looking for someone who has previously worked with assembly in some form, preferably within the manufacturing industry. It is an advantage if you have worked with testing electronics before. It is a requirement that you have a B driver's license and that you are fluent in both Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

Furthermore, we see that you have a strong technical interest as the products you will work with are of a high technological level. You have your own drive and can work independently with partially repetitive tasks. You must be efficient/planning in your work and always prioritize quality as the highest priority. You thrive in a role that is varied where you can work both individually and in a group. It is important that you enjoy collaborating with others and put the team before yourself. There is a very good cohesion in the group, where the atmosphere is open, and where they mainly have fun together.
