Job Description

We are looking for a solution-oriented transport leader for an exciting consulting assignment with our partner. In this role, you will work closely with both customers and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth and efficient transport operations. You will be responsible for booking transports in a timely manner, handling and distributing necessary freight documents, including customs documents, as well as monitoring outgoing logistics to ensure deliveries are made as planned. We are looking for someone who is newly educated in transport, logistics, or forwarding, but also someone with more senior experience. If you also have work experience from the manufacturing industry, it is a significant plus.

Being a consultant means you work on assignments for various companies and have the opportunity to contribute your expertise in diverse projects and environments. As a consultant, you are expected to quickly familiarize yourself with new tasks and adapt to different corporate cultures, which provides you with broad experience and a dynamic workday. In this role, it is important that you are available to start working immediately, as assignments often have an urgent need for your skills and drive.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with customers and internal stakeholders to ensure transports are booked in a timely manner.
• Ensure that all relevant documents for transports, including customs documents, are correctly filled out and distributed.
• Manage and monitor outgoing logistics to ensure all deliveries are made as planned.
• Handle and resolve any logistical issues that may arise during the transport process.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in transport and logistics.
• Education in transport and logistics is an advantage.
• Very good proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Experience working in SAP is an advantage.
• Ability to work independently and make quick decisions when necessary.
• Must be able to communicate fluently in Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing.
• Strong communication skills and experience working with both internal and external parties.
