Veriscan is hiring a Salesperson in Information Security

Veriscan started in 1999 and specializes in information security. Veriscan's mission is to support organizations in Sweden and internationally to work systematically and long-term with information security, using a holistic approach and unique methods and tools.

Central to the work with information security is the organization’s operational needs. Information security should never become an end in itself, but rather an active support to secure the organization’s mission and increase opportunities for service and business over time.

About the Role

As a salesperson at Veriscan, you will play a key role in helping organizations strengthen their work with information security. We offer a unique combination of services and products that support customers in achieving compliance with standards such as the ISO 27000 series. The role involves both selling consulting services and introducing our software solutions, which support information security classification, risk management, and vendor assessments.

In this independent role, you will be responsible for the entire sales process – from identifying prospects to negotiating and closing deals. Our customers include both small and large organizations, in both the private and public sectors. The role offers great variety, with both quick deals and more complex procurements.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and contact potential customers.
  • Build new and maintain existing customer relationships.
  • Manage procurements and bids.
  • Present and sell our services and products to management teams and security officers.
  • Participate in networking and conferences to build contacts and increase visibility for our services.

Who are you?

We are looking for an experienced salesperson with a strong drive and a good understanding of both IT and organizational structures. To succeed in this role, you need:

  • Experience in driving the entire sales process from start to finish.
  • General knowledge of IT, preferably with a background as a systems analyst or from IT operations.
  • Understanding of different types of organizations, large and small, in the public and private sectors.
  • The ability to communicate with decision-makers at the management level.
  • Experience working with both procurements and quick deals.
  • The courage to make new contacts and build long-term relationships.

Knowledge of ISO standards, particularly ISO 27000, as well as previous experience selling software systems, is a plus. Very good knowledge of Swedish and English is required.
