Job Description

Randstad is looking for an industrial painter for a client in Östervåla, Heby municipality.

Are you an experienced painter with a background in the automotive industry? Or are you a hobby painter with an interest in working in the industry? Then you might be the one we are looking for!

Responsibilities

As a painter, you will work with the painting of truck superstructures. Your main tasks include:

• Preparing and treating surfaces for painting, such as sanding, filling, and masking. 
• Applying primer and topcoat using spray equipment. 
• Ensuring that the painting meets high quality standards and fulfills the company's requirements for precision and finish. 
• Working with different types of paints and coating systems according to specified guidelines.
• Following the company's safety procedures and proactively working to maintain a safe work environment. 
• Contributing to keeping a clean and organized workplace.
• Participating in efforts to continuously improve our processes.

Qualifications

We are primarily looking for someone who has: 

• Experience as a painter, preferably within heavy industry or the automotive industry.
• Good knowledge of working with spray painting and various coating systems. 
• Experience in preparatory work such as sanding, masking, and priming. 
• High accuracy and attention to detail to achieve high-quality results. 
• Understanding of workplace and safety requirements related to painting work. 

Alternatively, you have a solid interest in painting at a hobby level, enjoy working with cars and painting in your spare time, and have an interest in the industry.

• You are quality-conscious and have an eye for detail.
• You work in a structured and meticulous manner, with a sense of both efficiency and precision. 
• You are responsible and self-driven, but also have good teamwork skills and can collaborate with colleagues in other departments. 
• You have a strong safety mindset and carefully follow the company's workplace routines. 

Meritorious

• Experience in painting within the heavy automotive industry
• Knowledge of and experience working according to ISO-certified workplace systems
• Education in industrial painting or similar

Location: Östervåla

Working hours: 2-shift with morning shifts Monday-Friday, evening shifts Monday-Thursday. Night shifts may occur.
