About the job

As a Night Operations Technician at Pågen, you play a crucial role in ensuring our deliveries of fresh bakery products by solving urgent faults and unplanned production stoppages. You will work with troubleshooting and repairs, both electrical and mechanical, and you will participate in technical projects and provide support to operators in maintenance and machine-related issues. You are an important cog in the bakery where collaboration and communication both within and outside the organization are part of the success. You will work with highly automated machines and control systems of varying ages.

Who are you?

The position involves a significant amount of problem-solving, and you need to have a good ability to solve complex problems and think outside the box. You have many contact points within the bakery and need to be able to collaborate, be unpretentious, and attentive. As new situations and challenges arise every night, you need to be independent, stress-resistant, and flexible while working in a structured and meticulous manner. To thrive in the role, you should also be goal- and service-oriented and enjoy new challenges and learning new things. We place great importance on personal suitability, meaning that you are driven, structured, helpful, and communicative.

You have a high school education or equivalent with a focus on technology, vehicles, electricity, or mechanics. You have experience in electrical troubleshooting/installation or education in electrical engineering, or work experience with a technical or mechanical focus. You are also structured and methodical in your problem-solving and have a good command of the Swedish language in both speech and writing.

It is an advantage if you have:

• work experience from similar work in a larger manufacturing/process industry
• a background in structured problem-solving techniques and preventive maintenance
• knowledge in Automation/PLC.
