Vårdcentralen Centrum is situated in the hospital area in nice and modern premises, where large parts of our operations are gathered under one roof. In our premises, we also have a weekend clinic that we run together with other health centers in the area for patients from Landskrona and Svalöv. We also have accredited operations within child health care and cognitive behavioral therapy.

Vårdcentralen Centrum is a well-functioning unit with approximately 15,000 registered patients, making us one of the largest health centers in Skåne. Here, there is a wide range of expertise within our outpatient operations with district nurses, specialist physicians, resident physicians, nurses, nursing assistants, social workers, psychologists, occupational and physiotherapists, and dietitians. For us, it is important to offer our patients good accessibility, respectful treatment, continuity, security, and high medical competence. We have a great interest in supervision and therefore often have students from all professional categories with us. Here we also offer teledermatology and digital consultations with specialist hospitals, and in the fall we will begin to work towards establishing an atrial fibrillation clinic.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

With us, you as a specialist in general medicine will be offered a varied job that includes outpatient clinic, child health center (BVC), family center, nursing home, home visits, and weekend activities. Additionally, you will supervise training physicians and medical students.

In the role of medical manager, you will assist the operations manager in leading, governing, and developing the operations with a focus on patient safety and medical quality. You will also participate in the primary care area's network meetings for medically responsible physicians and relay information from there to the physician group and other staff at the unit. It is your mission to ensure that the person-centered standardized care pathways are implemented in the operations and that other relevant knowledge support is used.

You will also assist in analysis and compilations for the unit's annual patient safety report. Likewise, you will analyze the unit's medical results regarding the treatment of chronic diseases and other medical outcomes related to evidence-based care. Part of your role will also be to propose and prioritize improvement measures based on the results of follow-up. QUALIFICATIONS

We welcome you who are a licensed physician with permission to practice within Swedish healthcare. Furthermore, you have specialist competence in general medicine. For the position, language skills in Swedish corresponding to at least level C1 according to the Council of Europe's level scale are a requirement. If you have work experience from primary care, this is meritorious, as well as if you have supervisory training or previous experience in management work within the health and medical care sector.
