Starting in August 2025, Nordvik Utbildningar AB will launch a new one-year adult education program in agriculture. We are therefore looking for vocational teachers and instructors who want to help build and develop the education together with us!

We are looking for individuals with experience in agriculture who want to teach and guide adult students in both theory and practical moments. Depending on your background and skills, your role can be adapted to best fit the needs of the education and your strengths.

Together with your future colleagues, you will contribute to the development of our adult education programs in agriculture in Höga Kusten. We are open to different forms of employment and also welcome those who run their own business and wish to work on a consultancy basis.

Examples of what you will do as a vocational teacher in agriculture:

• Be responsible for education in specific subjects within agriculture, focusing on practical moments and professional knowledge. Primarily within adult education, but some teaching at the high school level may also be included.
• Plan, implement, and evaluate teaching based on governing documents.
• Assess and grade students' performances.

Qualifications

We are looking for individuals who have

Education as a vocational teacher in natural resources or a background from working in agriculture, such as a farmer, operations manager, or agricultural economist.

Experience from working with education and working according to governing documents.

A professional demeanor and good ability to communicate and collaborate with students, colleagues, and external contacts.

Meritorious

Licensed vocational teacher in relevant subjects within natural resources.

Mandatory requirements

You have a B driver's license and access to your own car.

You can provide a valid extract from the police criminal record for work within schools.

Employment scope

Depends on which subjects you are interested in.

Employment form

Permanent employment with a 6-month probationary period or a consultancy assignment.

About the workplace

In Nordvik, Noraström, the Agricultural Society operates an educational facility within the natural resources sector. From August 2025, adult education in agriculture and gardening will be offered here on behalf of municipalities in the region. The facility also hosts other educational programs, such as the high school's natural resources program, adult education for florists and farriers, and education within adapted high school.

In addition to education, agriculture, restaurant, veterinary services, and small animal operations are conducted here. We also rent out stable places, dog yards, dog halls, and riding arenas. For our high school students, there are student accommodations, and adult students have the opportunity for housing and overnight stays.

Additional information

At Nordvik, there is an opportunity to bring your own dog to work. There is also the possibility to rent a stable place if you wish to have your own horse at Nordvik. If you need to commute weekly, there may be an opportunity to rent a guest room, subject to availability.
