Do you have a background as a project engineer and dream of working as a project manager in the future? Then you might be the one we are looking for! We are currently recruiting for our client Norconsult, someone who wants to step into the role of project engineer but aims to grow into a project manager role over time.

Over the past few years, Norconsult has experienced significant organic growth, which has now led to the need to expand the team with a project engineer. As a project engineer at Norconsult, you can expect to work on interesting projects primarily in road, bridge, and railway. Initially, you will work closely with experienced project managers and contribute to driving projects forward by coordinating the team and ensuring that the project's timeline, budget, and quality are maintained. From day one, you will get a taste of this, as you will initially be an important support for the project managers.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Job Duties
- Collaborate with project managers and other employees to ensure that all parts of the projects run smoothly and in accordance with timelines, budgets, and quality requirements
- Prepare and ensure correct documentation for the projects, including construction documents and reports to clients and authorities
- Contribute support in project management, such as monitoring timelines and costs, as well as managing risks and deviations
- Participate in meetings with clients and other external parties to ensure that the projects meet their requirements and expectations
WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO
- Has previous work experience from a similar role. This experience should represent about 1-3 years of work in a similar role
- Speaks and writes fluently in Swedish as required for the job tasks
- Has good knowledge of Microsoft Office 365
It is a merit if you have:
- Experience working within or with government authorities
- Hold a post-secondary education as an engineer in combination with the desired experience mentioned above
