The Role

We are now looking for a trainer for our Competence Center in Säffle who wants to help make Säffle the obvious choice when our customers need bus expertise in their workshops. We provide training for customers and dealers primarily in Sweden and Norway, but also in other parts of Europe.

You will be part of a team of 4 people working on training mechanics. You will conduct technical training for Volvo bus dealer mechanics as well as customer mechanics. This means you will be responsible for both conducting and preparing the training.

Who are you?

The position requires good automotive competence and places great emphasis on your pedagogical ability. You are a good communicator and find it natural to give presentations to customers and dealers. You are pedagogical and have an easy time expressing yourself and conveying technical knowledge effectively. The role also requires good knowledge of the Office suite as you will create and adjust training materials as technology changes and is continuously updated.

You enjoy working in a team and take significant personal responsibility. A D driver's license is considered an asset, while a B driver's license is a requirement. Furthermore, you are proficient in both Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

Who are we?

Here at our site in Säffle, 45 people work. The business consists of three parts: we stock, manufacture, and supply spare parts primarily to our customers in Europe but also to other parts of the world. Our customers range from sole proprietorships to large passenger transport companies. We also perform some work for other departments within Volvo Buses, such as various marketing companies and product development.
