Job Description:

We want to enhance our team with a Study and Career Counselor who will play a central role in supporting our participants on their journey back to working life or further into education.

About the Assignment: The assignment includes conducting mapping conversations/follow-up conversations/individual conversations and a final report. Each conversation lasts 45 minutes, and you are expected to conduct approximately 20 conversations per week, which corresponds to about 15 hours per week. Payment is made per completed conversation.

Job Responsibilities:

• In-depth Mapping: Conduct individual conversations to identify the participant's strengths, areas for development, and goals for achieving work or education.
• Qualified Career Guidance: Provide in-depth support to help the participant achieve their career goals. This involves guidance through individual conversations, group activities, and coaching.
• Group Activities and Workshops: Lead activities to motivate participants to improve their skills and employability, as well as create networking opportunities and job opportunities.
• Guiding and Coaching Interventions: Provide support and guidance within programs such as Career Guidance and also support Rusta and Matcha as needed.
• Documentation and Follow-up: Follow up and document participants' progress, continuously adjust individual action plans, and ensure that all documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and handled quickly and systematically.

Mandatory Activities:

• Individual Guidance Conversations: At least 7 conversations of 45 minutes each, where the participant's career plan should be the focus. Main goals and alternative goals should be identified and described in each conversation as well as in the final career plan. In total, there will be 8 conversations per participant including mapping conversations, which is the first conversation with the participant.

Purpose:

• The purpose is to support each participant in executing their Plan A while also developing an alternative Plan B, to ensure that the participant, after completing the program, has a clear action plan for their future. The goal is for the participant to have a clear and realistic understanding of their next steps, without any misunderstandings or ambiguities regarding their future plans when the program is completed. This process should build on the goals and plans defined in Career Guidance (KVL).

Offer:

• Payment per completed conversation: 230 SEK per conversation (45 minutes).

We are looking for you who:

• Have a degree in Study and Career Guidance.
• Have at least three (3) years of work experience, preferably in areas such as study and career guidance, employment services, recruitment, transition, or labor market issues.
• Have experience working with people who are far from the labor market and creating a safe and motivating environment.
• Are structured and self-driven with a strong ability to manage and document participants' cases quickly and efficiently.
• Have good communication skills and are used to working independently, but also enjoy being part of a team.
