Educational Leader with an Interest in IT

As an Educational Leader, you will have overall responsibility for all aspects of the training programs you oversee.

A large part of an Educational Leader's daily routine involves contacts with students and educators whom you coach and support throughout the courses. You are responsible for planning and ensuring that the courses are conducted in accordance with laws and follow the educational plan. You will also have contact with relevant industries and meetings with companies to further develop the education, as well as ensure active collaboration with stakeholders related to each training program.

You will initially be responsible for training programs in IT and Civil Engineering, where networking with companies in development/programming/code is central to the role. However, training programs may vary over time depending on which programs we conduct from time to time.

You will be part of a regional team with Educational Leaders and Educational Administrators and will also collaborate closely with Educational Leaders and other professional roles at our two other training locations, Malmö and Gothenburg.

Examples of Responsibilities:

· Plan, staff, and ensure the quality of the training programs in accordance with the requirements of the Swedish National Agency for Higher Vocational Education, laws, and regulations

· Administration and coordination regarding students and the education's management group

· Together with the education's management group, ensure that the education is conducted according to a systematic quality assurance process and that the education develops in line with labor market demands

· You are responsible for building strong relationships with the employing business community, particularly related to study visits, LIA placements, and also applications for training programs

· You maintain continuous contact and follow-up with involved stakeholders such as students, businesses, and authorities

Business trips may occur in connection with, for example, LIA visits.

As an Educational Leader, you report to the Head of Education.

Qualifications

• You have a post-secondary education or relevant work experience
• You have a good ability to plan, prioritize, and solve problems
• You have a good ability to communicate in Swedish, both orally and in writing

Meritorious

• Previous experience in roles that involved project management or coordination
• Previous experience in IT, preferably in programming or system development
• Interest in technology and/or IT
• Experience from higher vocational education
