Insurance Investigator at the Swedish Social Insurance Agency
Every year, the Swedish Social Insurance Agency makes 24 million decisions that affect people's lives and society as a whole. We disburse approximately 250 billion SEK each year. Investigations, Coordination, and Customer Contact
As an insurance investigator, you will be a state employee tasked with investigating to ensure that the right person receives the right compensation at the right time. In your work, you will assess whether the individual is entitled to activity compensation by conducting qualified investigations and analyses of documentation, primarily medical statements. You will then present proposals for decisions to specially appointed decision-makers.
You will also identify the individual's need for interventions to actively plan and coordinate rehabilitation together with the individual. You will be responsible for contacts and collaborations with others that the individual may need support from, such as the Employment Agency, healthcare, and possibly parents and schools. You will meet the individual through digital channels and in personal meetings. As an insurance investigator, you will handle confidential information, which places higher demands on proper handling. Therefore, it is important that you, who will work with us, have a high security awareness.
We are looking for someone who
- has a university degree or experiences and qualifications that can be deemed equivalent
- is confident and trustworthy, even in stressful situations
- collaborates effectively with others to achieve common goals
- acts on their own initiative and takes responsibility for achieving good results
- has a systematic and meticulous working method
- can understand and analyze complex issues
- has good communication skills, both verbally and in writing
- has a good ability to use a computer as a working tool.
It is advantageous if you
- have a good ability to investigate simply, quickly, and correctly
- have good knowledge of how to professionally meet people in different life situations
- have knowledge of different types of disabilities
- have experience collaborating with various external actors
- have a driver's license for a passenger car.

Other
A number of positions, permanent, full-time, with start date according to agreement. A probationary period may be applicable. In accordance with the Swedish Social Insurance Agency's security guidelines, background checks will be conducted in this recruitment.
