The Children and Youth Administration is responsible for Halmstad's municipal preschools, primary schools, adapted primary school, after-school care, and cultural school. Every day, about 16,000 children attend one of our facilities.

Eldsberg School is a F-6 school located on the outskirts of the Eldsberga community. Eldsberga is a rural community on the border with Laholm Municipality, south of Halmstad. The school has a total of about 170 students, of which approximately 70 attend the school's after-school care.

JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a wood and metal craft teacher for Eldsberg School. As a teacher in wood and metal craft, you guide, challenge, and support students to use their creativity in the subject. The work includes planning, implementing, and evaluating your teaching. The tasks vary, providing a diverse and challenging job, while also requiring both competence and personal qualities from you.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who is a qualified teacher or has an interest and is suitable for teaching grades 3-6 with a focus on wood and metal craft at Eldsberg School.

You have a teaching license with the authority to teach wood and metal craft. As a person, you are stable and secure with a good ability to build positive relationships with students and colleagues. You have ideas about how the craft subject itself and together with other subjects can spark students' curiosity and desire to explore different materials and take on challenges creatively. We place great value on good leadership qualities and the ability to create a conducive learning environment. You can work independently, are attentive, and can adapt to the needs of the students. We place great importance on personal suitability for the work.
