We are now looking for a qualified teacher in Technology and Natural Science for Ellen Key School.

Your Responsibilities

You will individually and together with your work team at the school plan, implement, and evaluate the work according to the school's governing documents and with our vision in sight. You will conduct your own teaching in grades 7-9 and also have close collaboration with other educators in the organization. The position does not involve mentorship. At Ellen Key School, there are employed mentors responsible for the mentorship of the students.

As a teacher, you work to promote each student's development and learning. Your responsibility includes creating good relationships with students, parents, and colleagues. You are an adult role model for all students at the school.

Your Competence

We are looking for someone who has a teaching degree and teaching certification in Technology and Natural Science for grades 7-9.

To succeed and thrive with us, you need to have a good ability to collaborate, be attentive, and easily understand other people's perspectives. You need to be secure in yourself, stable, and have good self-awareness.

It is important in the role that you have a well-developed pedagogical ability. You have a good understanding of how children and adolescents absorb knowledge and the different conditions for learning. It is also important that you are flexible and can easily adapt to changing circumstances in the organization.

The position is subject to background checks. Applicants must present an extract from the police criminal record before employment occurs.

If you are newly graduated, you will be offered an introductory year with a mentor, time for discussions, and municipal meetings.
