JOB DESCRIPTION

As a support assistant for short-term stay, you will work to ensure that people with various disabilities receive the right support for an independent life. You should be able to adapt your work according to the customer's wishes and needs and always strive to involve the customer. This may involve providing communication support, assistance with activities, and personal care with the customer in focus. Your tasks also include documenting in the Lifecare documentation system, creating and following up on implementation plans, planning individualized activities, and collaborating with guardians, colleagues, and other stakeholders in the customer's network.

You are part of a team but also work independently with the customer. The operations are based on the customer receiving the services they are granted according to LSS, and together with your colleagues, you have customer responsibility with the individual's needs at the center. Working hours are day, evening, weekend, and sleeping on-call according to a schedule that follows ATL. You need to be aware that the employment also involves working in other operations when there are cancellations at short notice as we work with optimized staffing in Enköping Municipality. We are now looking for two new colleagues as the current ones have moved on to other positions within the unit and the other is pursuing new challenges after many years in the operation.

QUALIFICATIONS

Knowledge of autism - Many of our customers have an autism diagnosis as part of their disability.

Experience working with children and young people is an advantage.

You adapt easily to changing circumstances. You see opportunities in changes and can quickly alter your perspective and approach based on what the situation requires.

You are secure, stable, and have self-awareness. You distinguish between the personal and professional and act in a way that is appropriate to the situation.

You collaborate well with others and relate to them in a responsive and smooth manner. You listen, communicate, and resolve collaboration difficulties or conflicts constructively.
