Social Services' Individual and Family Care Team Individ

The Individual team within individual and family care primarily works with adults who, for various reasons, need support and assistance to achieve a functioning life situation. The team consists of caseworkers with broad competence in social work in general and specialized knowledge in areas such as financial support, addiction, and LSS/social psychiatry.

We are looking for a social worker with an adult focus for Team Individ as one of our experienced employees is about to become a parent soon. The position includes handling cases concerning adults primarily with harmful use/addiction issues. Currently, Team Individ has 3.0 social workers working with adults and 2.0 positions focusing on young adults, as well as a supervisor in the area on the authority side. They work closely with other functions in the team, Team Support - our collective outpatient care, other authority teams, and external collaboration partners.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

You will work with authority exercise, i.e., investigate, assess, and make decisions based on applicable legislation in the area; the Social Services Act (2001:453), the Act (1988:870) on the care of addicts in certain cases, and the Act (1990:52) with special provisions on the care of young people, as well as being responsible for follow-ups and re-evaluations of these decisions. Case handling and documentation constitute a significant part of the work, as well as collaborating internally and externally in various constellations.

QUALIFICATIONS

A degree in social work or other education deemed adequate by the employer. Knowledge and experience in the area of harmful use/addiction as well as experience in authority exercise are meritorious. We are looking for a responsible, positive, and flexible person who can contribute to making a difference for the individual user, the development of the business, and a good working environment. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability. A valid B driver's license is required.

Working conditions: Working hours are 07:45-17:00. The organization applies flexible working hours as well as summer and winter hours. Employees have a wellness hour per week if the business allows.
