The primary school/adapted primary school operations are part of the Education Administration. The operations include 21 primary schools and adapted primary school, with a total of approximately 4500 students. Five of the primary schools are upper secondary schools, while the others, with a few exceptions, cover grades F-6. The operations also include after-school care.

Skolgårda School (grades F-9 and after-school care) is located in the historic quarters around Motala Verkstad, close to the center, Borenshult locks, and nature. Skolgårda has chosen to profile itself with a focus on goal fulfillment, safety, and well-being, and is rightly proud of our good results! We have a high proportion of qualified staff and a faculty that stays long at the workplace. This gives us good continuity for our students.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

The position involves teaching in grades 4-6 and mentorship. You will be part of a work team where collaboration and engagement are important. You are expected to have close cooperation with the educators within the grade and the work team.

At the school, we work together to increase our shared understanding and the student’s learning environment, and our teaching is under constant development.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with a primary teacher degree and certification with qualifications for grades 4-6. It is required that you have qualifications in Math, Swedish, English, Social Studies, Natural Science, and Technology for grades 4-6.

You have knowledge of the school’s governing documents, a good didactic and pedagogical ability, and can therefore lead and organize your work to create a calm study environment and a good learning environment for our students. You have a professional approach towards students, guardians, and colleagues. You are flexible, have clear leadership in the classroom, and show great commitment to creating teaching that is adapted to each student’s conditions and needs. You have good communication skills and can express yourself well in both spoken and written Swedish.
