Personal assistance is a service according to LSS (the Act on Support and Service for Certain Disabled Persons). As a personal assistant, you provide individual support and care to individuals who have been granted personal assistance because they need help with one or more basic needs. Each client is unique, and your tasks vary based on the client's needs. You respect the client's self-determination and privacy, and contribute to making everyday life run smoothly.

About the position

The role of a personal assistant requires a high ability to create good relationships. Therefore, we are looking for someone who is attentive, engaged, and responsible. It is also important that you can take initiative and see what needs to be done.

We are now looking for someone who meets the following criteria:

• wants to work with a 67-year-old man living in Kalix
• has good knowledge of Swedish

It is also an advantage if you:

• have experience in the role of personal assistant or similar work
• share the client's interest in cooking

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

Working hours, employment rate, and salary:

We are looking for 2-3 personal assistants who can work in positions between weeks 26-35 with employment rates between 70-100%. The positions offer work during both daytime and evenings. Work shifts will be on both weekdays and weekends.

Fixed hourly wage according to agreement and other compensations will be in accordance with collective agreements.

Start date

According to agreement, but you should be able to start and complete an introduction with the client before the temporary position begins. There is an opportunity to work as a substitute before and after the temporary position.

Being employed at Humana

A prerequisite for starting employment with us at Humana is that you can present valid ID and any documents that prove your right to work in Sweden. To work as a personal assistant, you must be at least 18 years old.

According to legislation, we as an employer are required to request a background check from all employees who will work as personal assistants for a child under 18 years old. Therefore, you need to present an extract from the police criminal record before a potential employment. Further information will be provided if you proceed in the recruitment process.
