Nyköping Gymnasium is now looking for a substitute teacher in Swedish, History, and Religion.

JOB DESCRIPTION

The position is a part-time employment and a substitute from April 7 to June 20. The position is located at Nyköping Gymnasium where you will primarily teach students in the Gripen unit. You will belong to a team with fantastic colleagues who will welcome you, and together you will develop learning environments, approaches, and teaching that enhance students' learning and social development.

The position includes teaching in the subjects of Swedish, History, and Religion. It may also include being a mentor for a group of students. We use digital tools in the work with pedagogical documentation. Our operations are characterized by a positive outlook, and we have a strong belief in the students' competencies.

As a teacher, you are responsible for the pedagogical work within the subjects you teach. The positions require that you have clear leadership with engagement and warmth that challenges and supports students so that they achieve good study results. We work based on the school's curriculum. You work according to the curricula and translate the goals into meaningful learning for the students.

QUALIFICATIONS

For the position, it is required that you have good knowledge of the subjects you teach. It is meritorious if you have experience from pedagogical work and have worked with upper secondary students before.

You have a clear pedagogical insight and the ability to translate the curriculum's goals into your work. You are a present and co-researching educator who challenges and stimulates students to develop. A strong belief in collaboration as a success factor for pedagogical development is a given for you.
