ABOUT THE JOB
We are now looking for a class assistant for our assistant team at the Education Center. We are Southern Lapland's leading education center with a wide range of upper secondary education, ski high school (NIU), adult education, and adapted school for youth and adults. Our vision is to create a drive for lifelong learning together – brain with heart!

As a class assistant in the assistant team, you will provide pedagogical support to the school's students. Your tasks include supporting students during the school day, both in groups and individually. You will also work with the assistant team and student health to plan your schedule and the assignments you receive. You will work supportively and inclusively for all students based on the school's values and collaborate with teachers in daily work.

YOUR PROFILE
We believe in the right competence in the right place. We are looking for someone who is an educated social pedagogue or has equivalent education/experience that the employer assesses as comparable. Knowledge of neuropsychiatric disabilities (NPF) is an advantage. You will work with students in the national programs at the upper secondary school. We are looking for a person who focuses on the student and has a strong commitment to support and lead youth in school. It is important that you have good social skills and a positive attitude towards both students and guardians as well as other professionals in the school.
