Signode in Burseryd is part of a global group that manufactures and sells packaging materials and machine solutions for packaging. Signode has approximately 7,000 employees worldwide, of which about 2,000 are in Europe. In Sweden, we have 160 employees, and a large proportion work at our factory in Burseryd. Here, we manufacture steel band products for a variety of customers. We have 125 employees in Burseryd, and production takes place from daytime to continuous operation.

As a machine operator with us, you will manufacture and package steel bands. The work is independent and requires a high level of personal engagement and technical interest. To succeed as a machine operator, you need to have a safety mindset, be quality-conscious, be able to absorb relevant information, and work proactively. In the role of machine operator, you are responsible for the entire process, from changeovers to startup and removal. You are also responsible for performing quality checks and reporting production outcomes daily. Working hours may vary from daytime to 5-shift, so it is essential that you are flexible with working hours. As a person, you are meticulous, responsible, and positive. Since the work is primarily done in pairs, good collaboration skills are important.

Meritorious:

• Experience as a Team Leader
• Forklift and overhead crane licenses

Requirements:

• Experience in manufacturing industry, especially steel industry
• Driving license B
