311. Staff and Logistics Company

311. The Staff and Logistics Company is part of the 31st Air Base Battalion at the Helicopter Wing Malmen. The company consists of a company command, command platoon, logistics platoon, supply platoon, and medical platoon. The command platoon's responsibility is to enable the command of the 31st Air Base Battalion and the operation of airfield systems. The main task of the platoon is to establish, maintain, and dismantle the command post with associated command support systems. The command support system includes tents, cabins, generators, servers, clients, telephony, networks, and radio equipment.

Main Responsibilities

As a communications soldier, you are an important part of establishing, maintaining, and dismantling the mobile air base. You should be able to independently and together with the group perform a variety of tasks. For example, setting up staff workstations, building temporary electrical installations, driving vehicles, or staffing the command expedition. The tasks are many and varied. When not in training, daily duties shift between supervising equipment and supplies, technical training, and maintaining basic soldier skills and physical fitness.

Qualifications

  • Completed military service with satisfactory results or ongoing military service with a good prognosis at the time of recruitment
  • Meets the Swedish Armed Forces' physical requirements
  • Approved medical examination
  • Swedish citizenship

As a person, you are meticulous, reliable, and loyal. You have a high work capacity and enjoy working in a team towards a common goal. Furthermore, it is important that you are flexible, service-oriented, and able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability for the position.

Meritorious

  • Experience in communications and/or as a staff assistant
  • Military driver's license
  • B/C driving license (manual)
