In close collaboration with the cathedral organist and the other five employees within the cathedral music, you will manage and develop the music activities in Sweden's national sanctuary.

The position includes leading the Uppsala Cathedral Choir and playing the organ, both in concert and liturgically. The application deadline is March 30, 2025.

The largest cathedral in the Nordics is looking for an organist

As an applicant, you are expected to have well-documented experience of working at a high artistic level in organ playing and choir and orchestra conducting, possess high vocal competence, and have good administrative skills. Good language skills are also required.

Qualifications

• Master's degree with a focus on church music, A-level, and documented experience corresponding to the position's requirements.
• We place great emphasis on personal suitability.

Information

The position is full-time and permanent. A probationary period may occur. Start date is September 1, 2025, or according to agreement.
