We are now looking for a Risk & Safety Leader

Job Description

In the role as Risk & Safety Leader, you will lead the Risk & Safety agenda for Supply Area areas with extra focus on IKEA Supply Services (Sweden) AB.

Your main responsibilities as Risk & Safety Leader are:

• Support in defining, implementing, and maintaining Steering Documents and tools.
• Maintain an understanding of the different Supply Areas and how they work as well as the risks, controls, industry standards, and best practices to effectively maintain a risk management and Safety & Security framework that is appropriate, implementable, scalable, and relevant.
• Address and align regulatory and legal/compliance safety and security requirements regarding risk management governance, policies, standards, methods, and reporting.
• Work with other specialists in the area of Safety and Security, Supply Chain Security, Ethics and Integrity Compliance, Information Security & Data privacy, Internal Audit and Reporting and Systems.
• Lead and develop agenda for Supply Area Risk & Compliance and Safety & Security Networks and facilitate and coordinate R&C activities across Supply Areas according to year cycle.
• Support with competence development and succession planning across area of responsibility.

Qualifications

• Understanding of the IKEA core business processes and IKEA Culture and values
• Understanding of IKEA governance structure and steering documents
• Knowledge of relevant health, safety and security policies, standards rules, manuals, tools and working methods within Inter IKEA relevant to the markets
• Understanding of risk management and safety and security regulations
• Strong leadership skills

To be successful in this role we see that you have experience from leading in a global environment and we are looking for a person with great stakeholder management and facilitation skills. You have a strong desire to move our Risk & Safety agenda forward.
