The demand for our fry is high, and we need to strengthen our team with a summer worker at the Kusträsk and Hollsvattnet fish farms. We are looking for someone who has sustainable care from egg to release and who wants to work to provide Norrbotten's sport fishing waters with healthy fish from regional stocks.

About us

The Hushållningssällskapet Norrbotten-Västerbotten was established in 1814. For over 200 years, we have offered independent advice within the green sectors and conducted various forms of development work in rural areas. Today, we are a modern knowledge organization that offers and performs business consulting, assignments, training, and development projects within the green sectors. Additionally, we operate fish farms and experimental activities in gardening and agriculture. We have about 30 employees at 6 different locations in our counties.

At Kusträsk and Hollsvattnet fish farms, we hatch and sell fish – from fry to “put and take”. We supply large parts of Norrbotten's sport fishing waters and in most cases, we also deliver the fish to the customer. Our operations are an important part of the local tourism industry and enable more business for other sectors in rural areas.

About the position

As a summer worker at our fish farms, you will learn to:

take care of and feed fish of different ages
clean fish tanks
operate a brush cutter
as well as release and deliver fish.

During certain periods, you will be alone at the farm, which requires personal responsibility and attention to detail.

To thrive and succeed with us, you should be hardworking, handy, and technically inclined.

The work can be physically demanding at times, and weekend work may occur.

A B driver's license and fluent Swedish in speech and writing are required.

The work is full-time and applies for the period May – October 2025, with a chance for extension.

The position is located at Kusträsk and Hollsvattnet fish farms in Boden municipality.
