One ward – several specialties. One team – many opportunities

Do you want to work on a ward with varied tasks, where you can combine emergency and planned care, develop broad competence, and work together with engaged colleagues who support each other?

Then Ward 81/82 might be the right place for you.

We are primarily an orthopedic care ward with both emergency and planned activities. Here, we care for patients with, for example, fractures, back pain, and other orthopedic conditions throughout the entire care pathway – from surgery to mobilization and rehabilitation.

At the same time, we also care for patients within ear, nose, and throat (ENT) care, eye care, and jaw surgery. Within ENT, this can range from acute conditions and planned surgeries to patients with cancer diagnoses or needs for tracheostomy care. The combination of several specialties makes the work varied, developmental, and stimulating.

With us, the patient is part of the team

We work in a person-centered way, starting from the patient's needs, goals, and resources. For us, good care is about creating safety, participation, and the best possible conditions for recovery.

Patient safety is a natural part of our work, and we work with, among other things:

  • Nursing rounds
  • Structured head-to-toe assessments
  • Bedside rounds
  • Interprofessional care planning
  • Rehabilitative working methods throughout the care period

As a nurse, you have a central role in leading and coordinating care around the patient together with other professions.

You are never alone

We know that good care is created when employees have the right conditions.

Therefore, you work closely with nursing assistants, doctors, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, and other professions. As support in your work, there are also:

  • SAMSA coordinator who supports in discharge processes and collaboration
  • Competence support for development in the workplace's methods
  • Pharmacist who provides support in medication-related issues

This gives you more time to focus on what is most important – the patient.

That's why we thrive here

Many of our employees highlight the variety as the greatest strength. Here, you get to follow patients through the entire care pathway while developing competence in several specialties.

Here, we help each other, share knowledge, and actively work to create a culture where everyone feels welcome and included. Here, there is close leadership, high competence, and a strong sense of team spirit.

We are looking for you who

Are a registered nurse and want to help develop future person-centered care.

You thrive in a job where you get to take responsibility, make your own decisions, and collaborate with others. You have a good approach to people, are curious to learn new things, and see opportunities in change and development.

We place great emphasis on personal suitability.

With us, you get

  • Unusually broad clinical experience
  • Work with both emergency and planned care
  • Be part of a strong interprofessional team
  • Work person-centered with rehabilitation as the focus
  • Good opportunities for competence development
  • Colleagues who stand up for each other

Welcome to a ward where you get to develop, make a difference, and have fun at work!
