About the position

We are now looking for two preschool teachers for Rosenberg Preschool in Tidaholm Municipality.

With us, the child is always at the center, and we strive for a safe, fun, and educational preschool every day. We achieve this by prioritizing forums for collegial learning, as well as developing and stimulating learning environments both indoors and outdoors. All preschools in the municipality work according to Helen Jenvén's theories and actively capturing children's influence and participation in the content of the activity. We also offer support functions in the form of special needs educators, speech therapists, and our cross-professional team "TSI" (Early Support Interventions).

A day at the preschool is filled with various meetings between children and educators. Every meeting is significant and part of the child's safety, development, and learning. In your role, you will therefore be part of taking advantage of this to make the preschool safe, educational, and joyful for everyone. Together with your colleagues, you will take special responsibility for developing the education according to the Curriculum. Currently, a municipality-wide development project on language "Language-developing approaches in preschool" is underway.

Learning processes are made visible through pedagogical documentation, and you have a special responsibility in this work. You work actively and systematically in the role to create stimulating and developmental learning environments. This is made possible through joint collegial reflections where we meet and manage each other's thoughts, which contribute to our growth in our respective professions.

The municipality offers you, as a preschool teacher, among other things, six hours of planning time per week, free pedagogical lunch prepared on-site, work clothes, a wellness allowance, and opportunities for competence development. If you are a newly graduated preschool teacher, you are also offered a mentor to create conditions for entering your professional role.

Qualifications

We want you who apply to be a preschool teacher with a preschool teacher license and have previous experience of work in preschool. Since communication and documentation are important parts of the work, you need to have good knowledge of the Swedish language, both in speech and writing. You are well acquainted with the preschool's steering documents and enjoy taking on challenges. You are proactive, driven, and independent. Furthermore, you see the importance of creating good relationships with children, parents, and employees. We therefore see that you as a preschool teacher have a good approach to children, guardians, and colleagues characterized by the belief in everyone's equal value and that everyone wants and can. You are positive, spread joy, and show willingness to work.

You always work with the child's best interest in focus. Knowledge and participation are keywords in our teaching, and we offer the children "New discoveries - every day!" This means that you as a preschool teacher are a co-researching adult and are sensitive to the children's interests and needs.

You show good ability to understand and implement the preschool's mission in practice. You have the ability to work together with others to perform tasks and achieve goals. By being interested and creating understanding for others, as well as taking special responsibility for the education, you work for a respectful work climate.
