Job Responsibilities
Your task is to provide our users with safe and good care, support in daily life, and an stimulating leisure time.
As a nursing assistant in home care, you are an important part of our users' lives. You help with everything from personal hygiene and social interaction, to activities and accompaniment. You also have delegated health and medical care tasks based on the user's needs.
You will:
- Be a permanent care contact
- Have representative roles
- Help with household chores such as cleaning, meals, and laundry
- Support users with weekly shopping via iPad
- Keep documentation
📅 Working Hours: Day, evening, and every other weekend.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone who is confident and has a genuine interest in people. You have the ability to work independently, taking responsibility for your work and contributing to the development of the operation by taking initiative. Teamwork and empathy are important qualities, as you will have daily contact with our users and their relatives. We appreciate that you have a holistic view and are quality-conscious in your work, performing your tasks in a structured and clear manner.
To be considered for this recruitment, you need:
- To be a fully trained nursing assistant
- The protected professional title from the National Board of Health and Welfare, or a certificate of employment proving that you were employed permanently with the title of nursing assistant on July 1, 2023
- Good knowledge of the Swedish language, both oral and written
- Good computer skills
- Category B driver's license or the ability to cycle
Previous experience from work in healthcare and social care is meritorious. We place great emphasis on personal qualities.

How does our recruitment process look?
- Selection and interviews take place continuously during the application period based on the needs of the operations.
- You need to provide two manager references, one of which must be your current or most recent manager. If you have no previous work experience, it is fine to provide one of your teachers.
- If you have previously been employed by Kungälv Municipality, we will contact the former manager to obtain internal references.
- For those who are not citizens of the EU/EEA area, a work permit is required. This does not apply to you if you have a permanent residence permit. The work permit must be presented at the interview.
- In connection with an offer of employment, we will ask you to show an extract from the criminal record and the suspicion register.
