- Hiring Experienced Engine Builder and Apprentice
We build and rebuild engines – from standard blocks to racing engines. All machining is done in-house. We are now looking for two profiles: an experienced engine builder and an apprentice eager to learn.
Track 1 – Engine Builder (Experienced)
You build engines independently. The work includes disassembly, measurement, assembly, and final finishing.
Requirements:
- You have built at least 50 engines from 0 to 100 – completely independently, not as an assistant.
- You measure and document meticulously.
- You can read and interpret workshop data and tolerance specifications.
Track 2 – Engine Builder Apprentice
You have the foundation and the drive, but not the number of engines under your belt yet. You will learn the craft from experts and build real engines from day one – under supervision.
Requirements:
- Mechanical basic understanding – you know how an internal combustion engine works and have experience working with your hands.
- Automotive technical education or equivalent personal experience.
- Precision over speed. We build engines, we don't just change oil filters.
- Desire to learn how to measure, document, and get it right every time.
Applies to both tracks:
- Swedish in speech and writing (for the experienced profile, English may also be acceptable).
- You clean up after yourself and take responsibility for your work.
Merits:
- Experience with performance builds.
- Cylinder head work, valve seat milling.
- Experience with measuring equipment: micrometers, internal dial indicators, flatness measurement.
- Personal motorsport experience.
We offer:
- A workshop with the right machinery – we do not compromise on equipment.
- Colleagues who know their craft and are happy to teach it.
- Salary based on experience, full-time, permanent position after a probationary period.
