We are now looking for an experienced teacher who wants to work in our municipality-wide special education group within the Student Support Unit!

You will work in close collaboration with other professionals involved in the work with the students. The work is characterized by low-affective handling and clarifying pedagogy. The education takes place in smaller student groups where you, as a teacher, plan and conduct lessons based on the students' needs and prerequisites.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a certified teacher with the qualification to teach Swedish in grades 4–9. If you are qualified to teach Social Studies (SO), Natural Sciences (NO), or Mathematics, it is an advantage. You must have previous experience working with students with Neurodevelopmental Disorders (NPF), which is a requirement for the position.

You are a secure and calm person who has the ability to create positive relationships that help students succeed in reaching their goals. As a person, you are sensitive to the students' needs, clear and respectful, with good ability to collaborate with students, guardians, and colleagues. You are engaged, proactive, and want to be part of the continued development of our operations.

Your new workplace

The municipality-wide special education group receives students from the municipality's primary schools. We have 20 students who are divided into groups. Our operations are located in a smaller school building where we have our own schoolyard and a calm classroom environment. We are located near Öjersjö Storegård 5–9 school, where we can borrow rooms for practical-esthetic subjects.

Here, you will work with experienced and competent colleagues. We are a great team that enjoys working together and supports each other. We have a high teacher-to-student ratio, and here every student has the opportunity to grow and develop. High demands are placed on actively working together to ensure accessible and adapted education for all students.
