At the System Review Section (SG) at Must, some of Sweden's leading experts in IT and information security work. We review the Swedish Armed Forces' IT systems and IT security-enhancing products to ensure they maintain a high level of security and contribute to defending Sweden and Swedish interests. The section supports other authorities regarding security-sensitive operations. We manage, develop, and interpret requirements for security capabilities. We participate in national and international working groups, and travel abroad occurs.

Job Description

The tasks include, among other things, reviewing and assessing IT systems and IT security-enhancing products based on associated system documentation and applicable regulations. This is done to check their security capabilities, threats, and risks to these systems, as well as the trust in the technical implementation. The tasks also include formulating and writing necessary documents regarding the review and assessment of IT systems.

As an IT security specialist, you will also make unit visits and participate in security checks at various locations. You will provide support and give guidance on IT security issues, and work proactively with regulatory changes and guidelines within different technical areas. In your work, you follow current laws, ordinances, and ethical principles to handle and protect information with high security quality in the best possible way.

Qualifications

  • We are looking for you who have several years of documented experience in IT and information security and have solid technical IT competence.
  • You have good technical understanding as the tasks largely consist of analyzing control documents and technical review reports.
  • You have in-depth knowledge of information security regarding evaluating vulnerabilities and being able to suggest protective measures.
  • A university degree or competence and experience that the employer deems equivalent.
  • Good ability to express yourself in speech and writing in both Swedish and English.
  • Good teamwork skills.
  • Driver's license for passenger car.

Meritorious

  • Good knowledge of IT architecture, is or has been employed within the Swedish Armed Forces, has knowledge of the authority and the regulations governing the Swedish Armed Forces and the total defense.

Personal Qualities

We are looking for you who are responsible, structured, and meticulous with good analytical skills. You are stimulated by working at a high pace in a changing environment. The position requires a high level of security awareness. The ability to quickly switch between planned and event-driven tasks, with the ability to quickly get up to speed with a problem that arises with short notice. Great importance will be attached to personal suitability.

  • Work location: Stockholm, on-site with limited possibility to work from home.
  • Employment type: Permanent, starting with a six-month probationary period.
  • Start date: By agreement.
  • Employment level: 100%, full-time.
