About the role

As IT Governance Manager, you are responsible for the IT-adjacent governance of the business object "Business Support". This business object supports Swedish Energy Agency's internal business areas such as HR, Finance, Sustainability, Legal Unit, Registry, Procurement, Property, and Communications. Together with the business units, you lead and steer the business object and ensure stable, secure, and efficient IT delivery that meets the business's needs.

>The role will include:

• Developing a governance plan together with the Business Governance Manager.
• Planning, leading, and monitoring IT-related governance activities according to the agreed governance plan.
• Staffing IT roles at the operational level in consultation with relevant resource owners.
• Coordinating internal IT resources and external suppliers.
• Participating in prioritization of cases from an IT perspective.
• Close collaboration with the Business Governance Manager.
• Planning and leading work on risk analyses and recovery and continuity planning.
• Working with financial planning and cost monitoring within the business object.
• Reporting status, risks, and deviations to the object control group and Object Owner-IT.
• Working with supplier management and supplier agreements.

You will become part of a business where IT plays a central role in development and have the opportunity to influence both governance and further development of our systems. The role offers good opportunities to contribute to improved working methods, efficiency, and digital development, while also developing your own competence through training, internal initiatives, and collaboration with experienced colleagues.

You belong to the IT HR and Finance unit, which is responsible for IT support to Swedish Energy Agency's internal operations within HR and Finance. The unit consists of approximately 15 employees and works closely with the business, internal IT functions, and external suppliers.

About you

Requirements

We are looking for someone who is structured, stable, and results-oriented with the ability to drive work forward. You are accustomed to taking responsibility, prioritizing between different needs, and creating clarity in collaboration with the business, IT, and external suppliers. You have good communication skills, build trusting relationships, and work methodically even when conditions change.

You have a university degree in IT, systems science, computer science, or equivalent competence, as well as experience in the following areas:

• At least 3 years of current experience in IT governance
• At least 5 years of current experience leading IT teams with at least five employees
• Experience of budget responsibility or financial monitoring
• Experience of supplier management or contract collaboration
• Experience of practical application of established ITSM processes, such as ITIL
• Good ability to express yourself verbally and in writing in Swedish and English

We consider it meritorious if you have work experience in:

• Security-protected operations and information security work.
• Public sector operations.
• Active contribution to IT procurement within the public sector.
• Application governance of systems in areas such as finance, HR, and property.
