Welcome to a wonderful team where we work together in specialized medical and geriatric care. We are now looking for a new colleague for our ward, Medicine C!

The Role of the Nurse

As a nurse with us, you are responsible for nursing care, medical treatment, medication management, and social planning regarding the patient. Your duties also include administering medication, handling medical technical equipment, and performing delegated medical tasks.

At our facility, you will work in a team consisting of nursing assistants, nurses, and doctors in a positive work environment.

Our specialties are pulmonology, gastroenterology, and general internal medicine. Exciting development work is continuously carried out at the clinic.

The Medicine and Geriatrics Clinic at Höglandssjukhuset in Eksjö is a developing operation where we care for patients in need of specialized medical and geriatric care. The clinic has a long history of innovative, systematic, and evidence-based quality work with a strong focus on the patient. Since 2014, the clinic's management system has been certified according to ISO 9001:2014.

That the clinic is ISO-certified is something we are all very proud of. This simply means that we have order and structure in our operations, which creates good conditions for us to know what, when, and how to do things. This contributes to quality assurance of our processes so that patients receive good and safe care.

Support for New Graduates

We know that the step from education to reality can feel large. Therefore, we want to give you as a newly graduated nurse a good start in working life where you can grow into your new professional role. We therefore offer all our employed nurses who have received their license in the last 12 months to participate in one of Sweden's best introduction and development programs for newly graduated nurses – RIU.

We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse with a great interest in your profession and a constant desire to develop!

We are looking for you who are confident in your role as a nurse. You are proactive, self-reliant, and have an easy time adapting to changed circumstances. You have a good ability to structure your work and are independent, while also collaborating well with others. Furthermore, you are stable and keep your cool in stressful situations. You also have a good ability to communicate with others and put yourself in their perspective.

Job Details and Start Date

The position is full-time with shifts during days, evenings, and weekends. Start date is by agreement, but we would like you to start as soon as possible.
