The Role of Nurse

Here, you will work in a team consisting of nursing assistants, nurses, and doctors in a positive work environment.

You will work at the Gastroenterology Clinic where we handle patients with medical gastroenterological and hepatological diseases.

Exciting development work is continuously taking place at the clinic.

The Department of Medicine and Geriatrics at Högland Hospital in Eksjö is a developing operation where we care for patients in need of specialized medical and geriatric care. The department has a history of innovative, systematic, and evidence-based quality work with a strong focus on the patient.

Since 2014, the department's management system has been certified according to ISO 9001:2014. That the department is ISO-certified is something we are all very proud of. This simply means that we have order and structure in our operations. It creates good conditions for us who work at the department to know what, when, and how.

This contributes to ensuring the quality of our processes so that patients receive good and safe care.

If you are newly graduated, we offer you the opportunity to participate in one of Sweden's best introduction and development programs for newly graduated nurses – RIU. The program consists of 16 full days over one year and offers in-depth studies in various areas of healthcare, with a focus on practical training and reflection. RIU gives you the opportunity to meet other newly graduated nurses, a context where you can exchange experiences and reflect together.

Your Profile

We are looking for you who are a registered nurse with a great interest in your profession and a constant desire to develop!

We are looking for you who are confident in your role as a nurse.
You are proactive, self-reliant, and adaptable to changing circumstances. You have a good ability to structure your work and are independent, while also collaborating well with others.

Furthermore, you are stable and maintain your composure in stressful situations. You also have a good ability to communicate with others and put yourself in their perspective.

We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
