The Role of the Nurse

Here, you will work in a team consisting of nursing assistants, nurses, and doctors in a good working climate.

You will work at the Gastroenterology Clinic where we handle patients with medical gastroenterological and hepatological diseases.

Exciting development work is continuously taking place at the clinic.

Your Future Workplace

The Medicine and Geriatrics Clinic at Höglandssjukhuset in Eksjö is a developing operation where we care for patients in need of specialized medical and geriatric care. The clinic has a history of innovative, systematic, and evidence-based quality work with a strong patient focus.

Since 2014, the clinic's management system has been certified according to ISO 9001:2014. The fact that the clinic is ISO-certified is something we are all very proud of. This essentially means that we have order and structure in our operations. It creates good conditions for us who work at the clinic to know what, when, and how.

This contributes to ensuring that our processes are quality-assured so that patients receive good and safe care.

If you are newly graduated, we offer you the opportunity to participate in one of Sweden's best introduction and development programs for newly graduated nurses – RIU. The program consists of 16 full-day sessions over one year and offers in-depth study within various areas of healthcare, with a focus on practical training and reflection. RIU gives you the opportunity to meet other newly graduated nurses, a context where you can exchange experiences and reflect together.

Your Profile

We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse with a great interest in your profession and a constant desire to develop!

We are looking for you who are confident in your role as a nurse.
You are proactive, independent, and have an easy time adapting to changed circumstances. You have a good ability to structure your work and are self-reliant, while also collaborating well with other people.

Furthermore, you are stable and maintain your composure in stressful situations. You also have a good ability to communicate with others and put yourself in their perspective.

We place great emphasis on personal suitability.

The position is a full-time clinic position with some weekend work. Start date is by agreement, but we would like you to start as soon as possible.
