Your role with us
As a nurse with us, you will work clinically as well as with planning, follow-up, and administration/documentation. In close collaboration with your colleagues, you work to create a safe and meaningful everyday life for patients living in service, support, and group homes within Luleå Municipality. The patients have varying degrees of somatic diseases and functional variations, such as Down syndrome and autism, which means that care needs vary. The target group consists of patients aged 18 and above.
We work based on the normalization principle, which means that those who can, with the support of basic staff, should visit the health center for assessments, sample collection, and other care. For patients who cannot manage to get there, we offer care and interventions in their homes.
You start your workday together with colleagues at our shared office where today's work is distributed. The work is independent, varied, and flexible, where you together with colleagues plan and carry out care based on the patients' needs. You work in teams with different professional professions and other healthcare providers and perform both planned and urgent interventions within the assignment.
Your working hours are primarily daytime according to schedule, but there is also on-call work, evenings, and weekends.

- Have a nursing license or are undergoing nursing education with graduation in the near future
- Have good medical competence
- Have a valid B-driving license
- Have good digital competence and can handle phones, apps, computers, and programs without problems, and have the ability to quickly learn new digital systems and tools when needed
It is meritorious to have experience working within support, service, and psychiatry, or with completed specialist education focused on district nurse or psychiatry.
As a person, you should be stable and able to handle pressured and unpredictable situations in a calm and secure manner, structured with the ability to plan, prioritize, and adapt your work based on the operations needs, and be collaborative and non-hierarchical in your working style where you contribute to good collaborations and joint solutions with the patient's best interest in focus.
