Do you want to work with close care in the patient's home environment? We are now looking for a nurse who wants to become part of our team on Bror Nilssons gata!

Our office is located at Bror Nilssons gata 5 in Lindholmen with good transport connections. You can commute by boat, bus, or bicycle. We currently work based on a standard schedule where you primarily work daytime hours with some evening shifts and one weekend every five weeks.

In the role of a nurse, you are responsible for setting goals, planning, leading, and following up on care in consultation with the patient and staff. Interventions are carried out as home visits, through supervision, or delegation to care personnel. You will collaborate in interdisciplinary teams and with other actors, both internally and externally. In your role, you will have close cooperation with colleagues within the home care rehabilitation unit as well as health centers in the city. Your assignment also involves identifying and preventing risks in care and mapping the patient's need for health care interventions. At our organization, the patient is always our primary focus, and our team always strives to deliver excellent and close care. You will work independently, but there is also a well-functioning collaboration and proximity to colleagues within your area. Together, you drive and develop a competent operation where high care quality and person-centered care are in focus.

To acquire the competence required to work within municipal health and medical care, the City of Gothenburg offers an introduction program for newly hired employees. The introduction program is individual and lasts for approximately one year. The program is designed in dialogue between you as the new employee and your unit manager.

About you

You are a licensed nurse. A specialist education as a district nurse or other adequate further education is meritorious. It is also meritorious if you have previous experience in the nursing profession, but we also welcome newly graduated candidates. The position requires that you have a B-class driver's license, as you drive between patient visits.

The work requires that you can independently overview, prioritize, and perform your tasks. You have the ability to work together with others and build good relationships. We are looking for someone who is open and accommodating in their interactions with others by showing respect, consideration, and care.
