Description

Ward 9 is a medical ward specializing in stroke/TIA. In recent years, the ward has been awarded for excellent stroke care by the Swedish Stroke Association and received the "Stroke Unit of the Year" award in 2018, 2019, 2021, and 2022. Collaboration is important to us as we work in teams consisting of nurses, assistant nurses, doctors, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, secretaries, and others around the patient. The ward also focuses on continuous development, which contributes to your work being experienced as stimulating and challenging. We also value quality highly and have a goal that all employees should have specialist competence in stroke; we also offer internal training such as the stroke competence certificate.

We have new, fresh facilities and can offer a good work environment.

Responsibilities

As a nurse on the medical ward, you have the opportunity to influence and make a difference for the patient in daily work. You collaborate closely with assistant nurses, doctors, and rehabilitation staff to create good care for the patient. The ward focuses on the continuous development of personal competence for each individual employee.

Qualifications

You are a registered nurse, preferably with some years of experience, and are interested in stroke care. You want to work in a changing environment where you, together with the team, drive care-related development. Additionally, you are motivated by taking and receiving responsibility in the role of a nurse. Great importance is attached to personal qualities such as flexibility, teamwork skills, and attention to detail, as you will work with varied tasks. You have a good attitude towards others, are innovative, and take initiative.

Clinical Base Year

For you who are a newly graduated nurse/radiographer, the Clinical Base Year is included during the first year of your permanent employment. The Clinical Base Year includes lectures, process-oriented nursing guidance, and practical training of your profession at the Simulation Center. It also includes shadowing in other units to give you a broader understanding of the hospital where you work. This is an initiative designed to give you the opportunity to further develop in your profession and build your professional identity.

Working Hours

The employment covers all hours of the day, but for this position, we are currently looking for a nurse who only wants to work nights.
