Cleaning and Facility Services is responsible for the maintenance of municipal premises, focusing on daily cleaning and planned maintenance. We also offer facility services, internal mail handling, and caretaking. We are approximately 350 employees, and together we clean 510,000 square meters daily in schools, elderly care homes, and other municipal facilities.

The role of Facility Cleaner

As a Facility Cleaner with us, you play a vital role in creating clean, safe, and sustainable environments. For us, facility cleaning is not just a job – it is part of creating a better experience for those who visit our schools, preschools, elderly care homes, sports halls, offices, and other municipal facilities. Therefore, we are keen on constantly improving our cleaning methods and ensuring our employees have access to modern tools and cleaning systems.

Your responsibilities:

• Daily cleaning, planned deep cleaning, and floor care.
• Operation of machinery.
• Maintenance of cleaning equipment and machines.
• Ordering of cleaning materials.
• Daily contact with people who visit the premises.
• Quality control of your own work to ensure we maintain high cleaning standards.

About you

We are looking for someone who likes order and wants to contribute to improvements. You thrive working independently and in collaboration with colleagues. If you have an eye for detail and enjoy working in a structured manner, this is a job for you!

We require:

• A completed upper secondary education.
• Experience in facility cleaning within the public sector.
• Good proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written, to communicate and follow instructions, as well as basic knowledge of English.
• A valid driver’s license (Category B) and access to your own car.

Additional qualifications such as training in SRY, PRYL, or similar are meritorious.

• Willing to handle physically demanding work, including heavy lifting, operating cleaning machines, and performing floor care, etc.

Upon employment, a certificate of good conduct (extract from the police register) must be presented, in accordance with the Act on Suitability Control.
