About the Role

As a nurse at Landskrona Omsorg AB, you work flexibly and independently to ensure good and safe care. The role involves quickly adapting to different work environments, collaborating with various teams, and contributing with a professional and person-centered approach. Through your broad competence, you are an important part of maintaining quality, continuity, and patient safety in our operations.

The Resource Unit performs assignments and interventions based on current legislation within the Health and Medical Services Act, the Social Services Act, and the Act on Support and Service for Certain Persons with Functional Impairments. Within the Resource Unit, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, nurses, and nursing assistants work together.

As a nurse assigned to the reception team and short-term care, you work in a cross-professional manner. You play a key role and collaborate with occupational therapists, physiotherapists, nursing assistants, needs assessors, and unit managers. Your goal is to provide patients with opportunities for recovery, training, and rehabilitation after a hospital stay. The work takes place in short-term care or directly in the home environment for a period of approximately 2–3 weeks. You will have a varied job where each day can look different.

Responsibilities

The responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Conducting nursing assessments and planning, performing, and following up on care interventions based on patient needs.
  • Handling medications, including administration, delegation, and follow-up according to current routines.
  • Performing medical tasks such as blood sampling, wound dressings, monitoring vital signs, and other clinical assessments.
  • Documenting in the journal system and ensuring all information complies with legal requirements and organizational guidelines.
  • Collaborating with multiprofessional teams and contributing to safe and structured care for patients.
  • Supporting patients and relatives through information, counseling, and a professional approach in various care situations.
  • Handling discharges from the region.

Qualifications and Merits

Requirements for the position:

  • Registered Nurse (RN)
  • Driver's License (Category B)
  • Good computer skills and ability to handle modern technology

Merits:

  • Experience in municipal primary care/home health care
  • Experience with the journal system Lifecare and planning tools Mina Planer and Pascal.
  • Work experience within the profession
