Primary care is the foundation of healthcare in Värmland, and we are here to provide good, accessible care to everyone in Värmland through all stages of life. Munkfors is located in the middle of Värmland, on both sides of the Klarälven river, approximately 6.5 miles from Karlstad. Here, there is something for everyone. We have deep forests, music, festivals, or the tranquility of the Klarälven river.

We are a well-functioning health center with experienced and dedicated staff. We have approximately 4,000 registered patients and about 13 employees. Here, different professions work together in teams to offer our patients good care. At the health center, we have a district doctor's clinic, a district nurse's clinic, a counseling clinic, a lab, Child Health Services (BVC), and Maternal Health Services (BMM).

Your Responsibilities

As a foot care therapist, you offer foot care treatment and wound dressings, primarily to patients with diabetes. Here, medical foot care therapy is offered as part of the overall care and treatment. We have close cooperation with the municipality's elderly care services and other health centers.

Your Knowledge and Competencies

We are looking for you with education as a medical foot therapist/foot care specialist (minimum 20 weeks of education) or a one-year post-secondary education as a foot therapist/foot care specialist, or equivalent education. It is an advantage if you have completed basic and advanced courses in foot care therapy in diabetes care, as well as if you have experience working at a health center. Fluent Swedish in speech and writing is a prerequisite for the job.

As a person, you are responsible and have good collaboration skills. You are calm, attentive, and accommodating in meetings with patients and colleagues.
