We are looking for a nurse who wants to help develop our recovery unit.

Day Surgery Norrköping is a surgical and endoscopic unit at Vrinnevisjukhuset in Norrköping. The clinic is centrally located at Vrinnevisjukhuset in new and modern premises designed to ensure patient-safe care within surgery, recovery, and endoscopic activities.

The facility includes six high-tech operating rooms and three rooms for endoscopic examinations. Additionally, there is a recovery ward with 13 beds.

Job Description

As a nurse in the recovery unit, you work in a team together with doctors and assistant nurses. The work involves both preoperative and postoperative care for the unit's patients, where you are an important part of the patient flow for both surgery and the endoscopic unit. Together with your team, you will handle many types of patients within surgery, orthopedics, urology, gynecology, medicine, and ENT surgery.

You will have a responsible and stimulating job where you get to be involved in the development of both the recovery unit and the clinic.

About You

You are a trained nurse with a few years of experience in the profession. Experience in postoperative care is meritorious.

You have good cooperation skills and contribute to a good work climate. You plan, organize, and prioritize work in an efficient manner. As a person, you are calm, attentive, and always have the patient in focus. You are also responsive, work well with others, and are open to changing your perspective. In your professional role, you are confident and see opportunities for development.

The position is a temporary full-time (100%) position for 1 year. The start date is by agreement. Working hours are Monday to Friday with some evening shifts.
