About the school:

Apollonios School is a compulsory school (grades 0–9) located in the beautiful Långbroparken, in a quiet residential area close to nature. About the position:

We are looking for you who are a qualified librarian and want to help develop our school library into an active and integrated part of the school's pedagogical work. You will work in close collaboration with the school management, teachers, and students to promote reading, information competence, and source criticism.

Your responsibilities will include among other things:

• Responsibility for the daily operations of the school library
• Support for students in information seeking and reading promotion activities
• Collaboration with school staff regarding teaching and thematic projects
• Development of the school library activities in line with the Swedish National Agency for Education's guidelines

Qualifications:

• Degree in Library and Information Science
• Experience working in a school library is an advantage
• Good teamwork skills and pedagogical understanding
• Interest in the reading development of children and young people
