About the Role

We are now looking for new order guard colleagues to strengthen our work team in Sundsvall.

As an order guard, you have a genuine desire to build good relationships and respect everyone, regardless of background. On our assignments in Sundsvall Municipality, you deliver security by being attentive and ensuring everything is in order.

You do this through presence at your workplace, and hopefully, this has a calming effect. However, if the situation requires it, you are expected to act and collaborate with your colleagues to solve problems. As an order guard, you are employed by Securitas but work under the regulations of the Police Authority.

This position suits you if you enjoy working with people and want to make a socially important contribution. We have a strong community and broad experience among our colleagues at the Sundsvall office, which means we can handle most things. If you want to become part of a tight-knit team, this is the job for you. We work day and night, every day of the year.

Requirements

Qualifications

• You have an order guard education and a valid order guard appointment.
• You have passing grades in Swedish and English from the first year of high school.
• Class B driver's license.
• Openness to working nights.

We see that you are a stable and stress-resistant person who can handle pressure and deal well with setbacks. You are humble, team-oriented, and service-focused in your interactions with the public, but you also understand the responsibility in your role and can remain objective when required. You have good communication skills and a desire to contribute to good collaboration with both colleagues and clients. It is an advantage if you have experience/knowledge regarding handling people, and if your work is driven by a desire to help people regardless of background. Great importance will be attached to your personal suitability for the position.

For employment within Securitas Sverige AB, you are required to have passing grades from high school in Swedish and English and be approved by the County Administrative Board for employment in an authorized security company according to the Act (1974:191) on Security Companies (the application is made by Securitas). Depending on the position, a security clearance according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585) may also be relevant. To investigate and assess whether you meet the requirements for approval according to the respective legislation, a background check is conducted. The assessment concerns law-abidingness, suitability, reliability, loyalty, and any vulnerabilities. Information collected may come from yourself, open sources, or authorities. We apply a holistic assessment when testing suitability for each position.

Salary and employment conditions are based on collective agreements between the employer organization Säkerhetsföretagen and the Swedish Transport Workers' Union.
