Vesterhavsskolan is a primary school in Falkenberg with approximately 630 students in grades F–9.

If you are passionate about creating a pleasant work environment and contributing to job satisfaction and community through your personality, you might be the one we are looking for. Vesterhavsskolan is seeking a school meal assistant who wants to become part of our wonderful team.

Your responsibilities:

In this role, you will work with lunch service as well as the school café. You will keep the kitchen clean and tidy and provide high-quality service to guests. Your duties also include dishwashing, cleaning, receiving goods, and other daily tasks common in a reception kitchen. You will work closely with the head chef.

Your profile:

We are looking for someone who is service-oriented, attentive, responsible, and proactive, with a genuine interest in food and service. You enjoy providing excellent service, which means you maintain a high service level and have a good overview of your tasks. You easily build good relationships with both guests – in our case, students – and colleagues.

We would like you to have good knowledge of self-control procedures and special diets. It is particularly important that you have good knowledge of safe food handling and allergy-friendly cooking. Experience working as a kitchen assistant is a plus.

We are looking for an employee starting August 17, 2026, or as agreed. The position is a temporary assignment and will be filled provided it does not need to be taken over by existing staff.
