Samhall exists to create a more inclusive labor market where everyone is seen as an asset. Our mission is to create meaningful jobs for people with disabilities. Each year, approximately 2,000 individuals are referred to us by the Swedish Public Employment Service. We offer them a stable platform to stand on, providing opportunities to train their skills and develop their competencies. Our most important goal is for 1,500 people to leave us each year for employment outside of Samhall.

The Role of Operations Manager

As an Operations Manager, you lead a group of employees in protected employment who work in customer assignments. In close collaboration with Area Managers, you support our employees in discovering and developing their competencies to eventually leave Samhall for another employer. You do this best by getting to know your employees and working closely with them in their daily tasks.

In your daily work, you ensure that everything runs smoothly to create the best possible conditions for our employees to develop, as well as ensuring our customers are satisfied. You report to the Business Manager.

Here you have a national network while locally belonging to a district where you have your closest colleagues and report to the Business Manager. You also collaborate with various support functions locally and centrally. Samhall is undergoing important and exciting development where your perspectives are valued.

As an Operations Manager, you are operational, present, and see what needs to be done. Having experience from and thriving in an operation characterized by high tempo and with the human being at the center is a requirement.

To succeed in the role, you need to have:

• Experience leading operational operations with managerial responsibility
• A clear and present leadership style that creates structure and engagement
• A strong customer focus and enjoy building long-term relationships
• Experience planning, prioritizing, and solving problems in a high-tempo operation
• A belief in people's ability to develop and are motivated by seeing others grow
• A high school diploma
• Fluent Swedish in both speech and writing
• Category B driver's license
• Experience in cleaning services is an advantage
